Watchdogs

Today everyone has an opinion on seafood, from the NOAA Fish Watch to the Blue Ocean Institute to the National Marine Fisheries Service to the FDA to National Fisheries Institute to the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) to the Seafood Choices Alliance to the Ocean Trust to the Monterey Bay Aquarium to the Ocean Conservancy and so forth – everyone has an opinion! In this section we try to identify who these watchdogs are and what aspect of your seafood they may or may not be involved in. With each one we try to give and overview of their mission, their resources and their credibility with a summary sheet.
